This Midwest Rake 89243 3" Trench Digging Shovel with 48" Polymer Handle has a 4130 aircraft alloy blade with a deeper V in the neck and back for increased strength and more flat in the front for easier trench clean out and digging. The blade also has the Boot Saver Step for better foot support and comfort, less wear on work boots, and better ergonomic positioning for the foot. The handle features a tubular fiberglass core in the upper handle, all encased in polyethylene plastic to prevent any fiberglass splinters.
