Wright mowers use only the highest quality belts. A broken belt can cost a day of downtime, so we use the best custom belt materials and rubber compounds for each drive. All Wright belts are made from either Neoprene or Ethylene Propylene Diene Rubber and never Styrene-Butadiene rubber. Our cords are always Aramid (Kevlar) and never Polyester. Most belts fail from tension (snapping) or flex fatigue, and any backside idler pulley that is small or under engine tension will significantly shorten the belt's life. For this reason, many of our deck drives are made with two belts and our larger idlers on the back side. The result: nearly 2X longer belt life.
